Eating Behavior of Students at the Technical University of Moldova during the Isolation Period

Appetizing peculiarities are formed from childhood and can vary throughout life. Although they conditioned by genetic factors, over time, the internal regulation of eating behaviors is reduced, being influenced a complex interaction various external factors. According to Behavioral Susceptibility (BST) Theory Obesity, Food Sensitivity in Response Stimuli (such as Sight Smell) Satiety Responsiveness (i.e. ability adjust diet response feelings satiety) contribute individual differences terms energy intake weight status. The present research intended assess patterns behavior Moldovan students, especially those Technical University Moldova during social isolation imposed COVID-19 pandemic. study was conducted, based on questionnaires (AEBQ—Adult Eating Behavior Questionnaire), group 602 students Moldova. Participation survey entirely voluntary, did not involve any invasive procedure, nor it induce changes participants’ food patterns. obtained results could formation database for behavioral phenotype associated with risk obesity, but also crises. questionnaire distributed, form link, corporate emails all TUM students. Respondents completed Google platform between 13.10.2021 - 25.11.2021, final has been downloaded Microsoft Excel file. It established positive correlation between, Emotional Over-Eating Under-Eating. Nervousness anger were most incriminating emotions that would cause both overeating under eating. AEBQ appear be largely line previous studies, collected data interest, particular prevent obesity.
